About Marek Supplements

Real medicine. Honest labels.

Marek Supplements is the supplement line of Marek Health — a preventive-medicine and hormone-optimization clinic. Every formula is designed by our medical team and verified by two independent laboratories before it ships.

What we believe

Most supplement brands operate on trust. We operate on proof.

What's on the label should be what's in the bottle. Nothing else. That sentence is the reason this company exists.

Every decision we make — from who formulates our products to which labs verify them — traces back to it.

Why we started Marek

A supplement line for the patients we already treat.

Marek Supplements grew out of Marek Health, the telehealth practice our founder Derek launched in 2020 to bring preventive medicine and hormone optimization to patients who weren't getting straight answers from the conventional system. As the practice scaled across all 50 U.S. states, a problem became impossible to ignore: our physicians were recommending supplements they couldn't actually stand behind.

Some of it was consolidation. Practitioner-grade brands we'd relied on for years were being acquired and restructured, absorbed into private-equity-owned holding companies where quality slipped — turning "physician-grade" from a manufacturing standard into a marketing label. The rest of the industry wasn't doing better. Active doses were often a fraction of what the label claimed. Heavy metals were rarely tested, and when they were, the results weren't published.

"Third-party tested" had become a marketing phrase that meant almost nothing. Calling yourself third-party tested without publishing the results is marketing, not testing. The deeper we looked, the clearer it got: for most brands, the phrase meant a single screen for pathogens like salmonella — the bare minimum the FDA requires. Not the qualitative and quantitative testing physicians use in medicine.

So we built a supplement line for the people whose bloodwork our physicians review every day — formulated by physicians and tested by two independent labs before any batch ships. If we wouldn't recommend it to the people we treat or to our own friends and family, we wouldn't sell it.

Our standards

Two labs.
One standard.

We test every single batch — twice. Every batch is sent to two independent ISO/IEC 17025-accredited laboratories before it reaches a customer.

We use two labs because no single facility is best at everything. Together, they run more than 10 independent tests on every batch. Both labs use pharmaceutical-grade analytical methods — including LC-MS/MS and ICP-MS — selected for each analyte and the level of sensitivity required. Every result is published on our Certificate of Analysis page and tied to the lot number printed on the bottom of your bottle.

Manufactured in an NSF/ANSI 455-2 certified facility.

Every batch is manufactured in a cGMP-compliant, NSF/ANSI 455-2 certified U.S. facility — the most rigorous voluntary GMP certification for dietary supplements. Globally sourced ingredients are independently tested by two ISO-accredited laboratories for identity, potency, heavy metals, microbial contaminants, and allergens.

Formulated around timing.

Some of our products work best fasted. Some with food. Some before bed. The physicians who design them build each one around when the body actually uses it — what's called chronopharmacology.

What we won't do.

  • We won't use proprietary blends. Every dose is named on the label, in milligrams.
  • We won't formulate around marketing trends. We let the science guide our formulations.
  • We won't use less-bioavailable forms to save cost. No folic acid. No cyanocobalamin. No oxides.
The team

The people behind your bottle.

Derek (More Plates More Dates) — founder of Marek Health and Marek Supplements

Founder

Derek (More Plates More Dates)

Derek is the creator of More Plates More Dates, one of the most-followed independent voices in men's health, hormone optimization, and performance research. In 2020, he founded Marek Health, a telehealth practice focused on preventive medicine and hormone optimization. The clinic now operates in all 50 U.S. states.

Marek Supplements is the natural next step. After years of reviewing protocols and bloodwork, Derek and the Marek medical team kept hitting the same wall: there was no supplement brand they trusted enough to recommend without caveats. So they built one — formulated by the physicians who work with the people taking them, dosed at the levels the research actually supports, and tested batch-by-batch against the labels.
